Dina Hyduke - Director of the Paralegal Program; Assistant Professor of Practice
Dina is a highly skilled and dedicated paralegal professional with over 30 years of experience. The first third of her career was spent on the defense side of civil litigation and the last two thirds have been on the Plaintiff's side. Dina is a B.A. graduate of Wilkes-University in the field of Political Science and Pre-Law. She is also an A.A.S. graduate of Luzerne County Community College in Paralegal studies.
Last year, (2025-2026), Dina was an adjunct professor at Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ teaching three classes – Introduction to Paralegal Studies, Legal Research and Writing, and Civil Litigation.
Dina is known for her exceptional attention to detail, strong research skills, and ability to work under pressure. She is a master at drafting legal documents, managing case files, communicating with clients, and organizing complex legal information. Dina is also well versed in the latest legal software and technology making her a valuable asset to any legal team.
Dina has managed her own successful business since February 2025 as an independent contractor paralegal and is contracted with several local firms. In Dina's past, she has also taught paralegal courses over the course of her career and assisted with accreditations at other higher education facilities (from 1998-2004).
She has also spoken at a couple Continuing Legal Education seminars for the National Business Institute. Seminar One - Date - December 5, 2002; Topic - Advanced Civil Discovery for the Litigation Paralegal in Pennsylvania; Seminar Two – Date – November 19, 2003 -Topic -Document Gathering, Production and Management for Litigation Paralegals in Pennsylvania. For these two seminars, she spoke a total of at least four hours per seminar and submitted written materials which were published and copyrighted in the manuals for the National Business Institute.
Dina is also an authentic, compassionate and empathetic person. She is always ready to lend a listening ear to her clients and colleagues and she is known to bring a sense of calm and order to even the most chaotic situations. She is also an advanced level yoga instructor which helps her manage stress and teach these methods to her colleagues.
