Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥

Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ welcomed its largest undergraduate incoming class in University history this fall, with 655 full-time first-year and transfer students joining the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ community. The incoming class includes 518 first-year students and 137 transfer students. Together, they represent the largest domestic undergraduate incoming class of first-year and transfer students in Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥’s history.

The new students represent 22 states, with approximately 65 percent living on campus in Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥’s residence halls. The class brings a strong range of academic and extracurricular accomplishments to campus, with an average high school GPA of 3.55.

“Welcoming Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥’s largest incoming undergraduate class is a remarkable achievement and reflects an enormous amount of dedication from the Admissions team and collaboration with the entire Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ community,” said Lisa A. Lori, J.D., President of Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥.

Rachel Hartz, Vice President for Enrollment Management, also recognized the University community for its support of the division. “Your collaboration has made our success possible,” Hartz said. “We look forward to collaborating with you this year to continue our positive momentum.”

In addition to the new undergraduate students, Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ is welcoming 167 new graduate students this fall, keeping its incoming graduate enrollment levels steady and strong since fall 2024.

The historic undergraduate incoming class marks an important milestone as Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ begins the 2026-2027 academic year. The University welcomes these students and the many contributions they will make to the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ community.
